Join our team as a Stationary Engineer, focusing on managing power systems at our facility. This role contributes to green initiatives while ensuring smooth operation in office. With 2 to 3 years of experience, you'll operate equipment in hydro, thermal, and nuclear plants.
Your responsibilities will include monitoring systems, performing maintenance, and training apprentices. This is a crucial role that aids in environmental conservation and sustainability efforts in accordance with Canada’s goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Complete and manage operational logs and reports
- Operate and monitor various plant equipment
- Develop and implement safety procedures
- Investigate malfunctions and make necessary repairs
- Coordinate transmission loads and water levels Requirements:
- Certification as a Stationary Engineer 'B' mandatory
- WHMIS and Forklift Operator certifications required
- 2-3 years of practical experience needed
- Understanding of high and low pressure boilers
