The Life Claims Examiner I facilitates accurate claim processing in accordance with policies and regulations. With 1-2 years of relevant experience required, candidates should possess medical terminology knowledge or related education. Responsibilities include investigating claims, managing inquiries, and collaborating with multiple departments for streamlined processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Verify and analyze claims documentation for accuracy
• Manage investigations involving claims stakeholders




• Provide final claim decisions and prepare detailed correspondence
• Investigate fraudulent claims and assess course of action
• Educate field partners on insurance legislation
Requirements:
• 1-2 years relevant experience in life claims field
• Medical terminology knowledge or related education
• Completed LOMA courses preferred
• Bilingual in English and French an asset
• Familiarity with multiple administration systems
