Senior Bridge Engineer / Project ManagerMarkham, Brampton, London, Hamilton, or Ottawa, ONAt EXP, you will be part of the Transportation team, based in one of our offices, and have the opportunity to work on a variety of bridge projects.ResponsibilitiesPerform project management for the planning, design, rehabilitation and inspection of bridges.Prepare design specifications required for recent structures and rehabilitation of existing structures.Conduct analysis and design calculations per applicable codes, standards, and regulations.Lead and manage assigned projects, ensuring achievement of project objectives.Coordinate and supervise appointed technicians and engineers on the project.Participate and contribute to office/region coordination with other disciplines, including business development and resource sharing.Mentor junior designers and provide direction for engineers during various phases of design and construction.Review and revise technical documents required to produce necessary tender documents for construction.Prepare tender documents including specifications,



quantities and drawings.Perform other necessary activities for project implementation and participate in proposal preparation.QualificationsExperience with design of new structures and rehabilitation of existing structures.Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and registered as a P.Eng. in Ontario.10+ years of relevant experience in construction, design and rehabilitation of bridges.Experience working with MTO, cities and municipalities.Ideal candidate will be RAQS registered, or be able to register for the multi‑span bridge category with MTO.In‑depth knowledge of bridge design and familiarity with MTO design guidelines, specifications, and standards.Knowledge of finite element analysis software.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.The salary range for this role is between $108,610 and $143,972, with actual compensation based on factors such as skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and work location.EXP subscribes to the Workplace Equity Program.
