Become a Youth Development Program Educator at Driftwood Park Child and Youth Development Centre. This part time role focuses on crafting quality learning experiences for children ages 0-12.
As an integral part of the team, you will uphold the philosophy of Conestoga College's Early Learning Programs while working directly with families and children. Scheduled Monday to Friday, your 24-hour week includes crucial split shifts for optimal engagement and supervision. Your attention to children's needs and adherence to the Child Care and Early Years Act will ensure success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Adapt programs to suit individual children's needs
• Meet children's basic health and safety needs
• Oversee play areas and daily activities
• Maintain respectful communication with parents
• Participate in team discussions and ongoing training
Requirements:
• Must hold a relevant two-year diploma or equivalent
• Standard First Aid and CPR training required
• Completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check necessary
