THE OPPORTUNITY The Operator is responsible for ensuring the proper operation and maintenance of the shopping centre. This role ensures a safe, clean, and efficient environment for shoppers, tenants, and staff. The Operator will perform routine preventive maintenance inspection and respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure the shopping centres systems and outdoor areas remain in excellent working condition.





Shift details: . Saturday 9 AM – 7PM, Sunday 9AM – 6PM. With possibility of working on weekdays to cover PTO of other operators.

Key details: Start date September 21, 2026, end date January 15, 2027, with possiblity of one month extension.

Qualification:

- Must have three (3) years continuous experience in the operation and maintenance of retail or commercial properties.

- Sound knowledge and understanding of HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical systems and BAS (Building Automation System).

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.

- Positive written and verbal communication skills are required.

- Must be customer and team oriented,

- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

- Must possess and maintain a valid Ontario class ‘G’ driver’s license

- Working at height training certification is required.

- May be required to work rotational shift hours to cover for other operators PTO or leave.
