Progressive Ford is looking for an experienced Parts Advisor to join our Fixed Operations team in Wallaceburg, Ontario.

The Parts Advisor is responsible for helping retail customers, wholesale customers, technicians, and service advisors identify and source the correct automotive parts. This role combines customer service, parts sales, inventory management, order fulfillment, and wholesale account support.

What You'll Do

- Assist retail, wholesale, and internal customers with automotive parts identification, pricing, availability, and ordering
- Use electronic parts catalogues and dealership systems to accurately identify and locate parts
- Pull, receive, organize, and fill parts orders
- Support Service and Collision departments by ensuring required parts are available when needed
- Monitor special-order and back-ordered parts and communicate updates to customers and internal teams
- Source out-of-stock parts from external suppliers and place emergency orders when required
- Process parts sales, invoices, returns, credits, and payments accurately
- Review collision repair estimates and coordinate parts requirements when applicable
- Maintain and develop relationships with wholesale parts customers
- Identify opportunities to grow wholesale parts sales and develop new accounts
- Maintain accurate parts inventory and assist with inventory counts and returns
- Keep the parts counter, stockroom, and department clean,



organized, and safe
- Follow dealership, manufacturer, and health and safety policies

What We're Looking For

- 2+ years of automotive parts experience
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, and vehicle systems
- Experience working in an automotive dealership, parts store, service department, or collision repair environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Comfortable using computers, parts catalogues, and dealership management systems
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely lift and move automotive parts and materials up to 50 lbs

Experience with wholesale parts sales, collision repair parts, or OEM parts systems is an asset.

Compensation

Base Pay: $20.00–$24.00 per hour

Additional performance-based earnings may be available based on the dealership's compensation structure.
