Alouette Bistro is seeking dedicated and skilled Pastry Chef de partie to join our culinary team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen and restaurant operations.

As a Pastry Chef de partie, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of taste and presentation.

This position's focus is pastry, but will need to assist with savoury aspect of the operations.

Duties

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
- Assist in managing inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations for food handling.
- Supervise junior kitchen staff and provide training as necessary.




- Participate in menu planning and development alongside management.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Experience in restaurant management or supervising kitchen staff is a plus.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality control.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food handling safety regulations is essential.
