Join Battlefords Community Health as a Public Health Inspector in North Battleford. This full time role focuses on protecting public health through environmental monitoring.

As a Public Health Inspector, you will work directly under the Manager of Environmental Protection Services. You will carry out inspections and assessments in various public facilities, bringing health and safety standards to life. Investigating tobacco control compliance and environmental complaints are also key aspects of your role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform ongoing monitoring in public and private facilities
• Conduct compliance checks under the Tobacco Control Act
• Assess food safety in public eating establishments
• Inspect water systems and plumbing for adherence
• Evaluate accommodations and personal service facilities

Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health (BSEH)
• Certification as Public Health Inspector (CPHI(C))
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
• Membership with the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors
