This on-the-road position involves operating articulated trucks while ensuring profession in customer service. You will also be accountable for vehicle inspections and handling critical cargo in compliance with standards. A commitment to safety and efficiency in transport is vital.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan routes using GPS and navigation systems
• Load and unload goods, including hazardous materials
• Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Address customer complaints with professionalism
• Perform emergency roadside repairs as needed
Requirements:
• Valid Class 1/1F/A Licence for semi trailers
• Air Brakes Endorsement required
• Experience transporting dangerous goods
• Solid interpersonal and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel for extended periods
