You will facilitate diverse activities that honor Indigenous traditions while supporting community members aged 16 and older. This position is essential in helping individuals overcome daily challenges, such as appointments and budgeting. You'll also provide transportation, ensuring participants access vital services and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and facilitate daily culturally relevant activities
• Assist participants in managing appointments and daily needs
• Prepare any required materials and supplies
• Deliver transportation services for program participation
• Engage and support participants through group activities
Requirements:
• Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of social support and Indigenous cultural practices
• Driver’s license and vehicle access with insurance
• Completion of criminal and abuse registry checks
• Familiarity with mental health issues and community resources
