Heavy Duty Mechanic – Clean Harbors

Location: Breslau, ON

Wage range for this position: $38-42/hour

Contract: Full-time

Shift: Tuesday to Friday work week, with occasional opportunity to work weekends/overtime; afternoon - evening position.

Responsibilities

- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
- Perform all required maintenance and repairs to various types of equipment, tanker tailers and heavy‑duty trucks;




- Perform maintenance which follows the manufacturer guidelines;
- Complete all paperwork required;
- Ensure the shop area is kept clean, tidy and free of hazards at all times.

Qualifications

- JM Mechanic certification (310T license)
- 3 + years' experience in maintaining of one or more of the following units: pickup trucks, tractors, and trailers;
- Familiarity with the various types of diesel engines;
- Ability to oversee, coach and mentor all apprentices and other shop laborers;
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Semi Annual Safety Inspection (CVI License).
