Options Community Services seeks a passionate Children’s Activity Worker to enhance the lives of children and families through engaging programming. Your creativity will shine as you facilitate social and recreational activities in Surrey's schools.

This role situated in the S.T.A.R.R. program empowers you to impact children's development positively. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising a variety of activities geared towards nurturing a supportive environment for children aged 6 to 13 years. Connect with families and ensure their comfort and safety in all aspects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement creative recreational programs
• Foster participation through positive interactions




• Evaluate children's needs and ensure inclusiveness
• Collaborate with professionals and the community
• Monitor and report on children's well-being

Requirements:
• Diploma or certificate in social services or related field
• At least one year of relevant experience
• Valid Class 5 BC driver's license essential
• Current Level I First Aid certificate required
• Solid problem-solving and communication skills
