About AI Training Work
AI training is the human side of building artificial intelligence. Contributors write, review, rate, and evaluate examples that help AI systems produce more useful and natural responses.

In this project, your coaching judgment will help create and assess realistic professional conversations. The work is a chance to contribute directly to how AI handles career planning, job searches, interviews, workplace challenges, and career transitions.

The Career Coach Role
OpenTrain is seeking experienced Career Coaches, Career Counselors, Career Advisors, Professional Coaches, and professionals in similar roles. Contributors will participate in paired, one-on-one coaching conversations with other professionals.





You will simulate common career coaching scenarios while adapting your guidance to each participant's goals and qualified background. Conversations should remain natural, skilled, thoughtful, and representative of real career coaching interactions.

Expert-level career coaching and professional development work

Expected duration of three to six months

Compensation of $50 to $100 per hour, with a listed rate of $75 per hour

What You'll Do
Contributors will use their practical experience and communication skills to guide realistic conversations and follow project guidelines. The work requires adapting in real time to different professional situations and individual goals.

Participate in paired, one-on-one coaching conversations

Discuss career planning, job searches, interviews, and professional development

Explore workplace challenges and career transitions

Provide practical, thoughtful, and individualized guidance

Adapt discussions to participants' goals and professional backgrounds

Keep conversations natural, professional, helpful, and realistic

Follow project guidelines for conversation participation and evaluation

Requirements
Applicants should have professional experience as a Career Coach, Career Counselor,



Career Advisor, Professional Coach, or in a similar role. Several years of hands‑on experience in career coaching, counseling, mentoring, or career development is preferred.

Strong verbal communication, active listening, questioning, and interpersonal skills are required. Candidates should also have experience supporting career planning, job searches, interviews, workplace challenges, or career transitions.

Relevant career coaching and professional development experience

Comfort working remotely and participating in paired conversation sessions
