You’ll be placed in a division of Fidelity that handles the clearing and custody of client assets, named Fidelity Clearing Canada (FCC).
Fidelity Clearing Canada, founded in Toronto in 2009, provides Canadian registered brokerage firms and portfolio managers with trade execution, clearing, custody and back‑office support. This part of Fidelity works with our clients (Introducing Brokers and Portfolio Managers) who hold various types of assets. FCC is a fast‑growing division of Fidelity, and the future is very bright as we look to be the #1 clearing and custody broker of choice in Canada.
How you’ll make an impact As a student in FCC Product Solutions and Marketing, you will have the opportunity to:
Research and analyze the market and competitors and FCC’s position within the market
Support monthly and quarterly product adoption and KPI reporting activities
Support the team in writing effective internal and external communications regarding product enhancements and more
Participate in the delivery of product enhancements by supporting teams with testing software functionality
Manage client feedback by sending initial responses and logging items from the product solutions mailbox for resolution
Share best practices for social media and assist in writing social shares
Support FCC Sales teams through the creation of content marketing and promotional material, designed to accelerate the sales cycle
What we’re looking for Working towards a university degree with a concentration in business and/or marketing
A keen interest and knowledge of the financial industry and capital markets
A strong interest in content and digital marketing
Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
You must be currently enrolled in a registered co‑op program to be considered for this position
You must also be available on a full‑time basis for the duration of the co‑op term
You will be working on a flexible hybrid schedule as part of Fidelity’s dynamic working arrangement.
Competitive Pay for Specialized Talent This contract role offers a flexible, hourly compensation model that reflects your expertise and the value you bring. The undergraduate hourly rate ranges from $23.00 to $27.00, based on experience and qualifications. We offer market‑aligned rates that recognize the specialized skills and agility required for this role. We’re proud to offer a compensation package that aligns with provincial pay transparency requirements.
Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.
