We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Peer Support Worker who can utilize personal recovery experiences to establish meaningful connections with clients. Your strong judgment and communication skills will enhance your effectiveness in promoting harm reduction and well-being within the community.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients in determining their wellness recovery goals
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in care planning
• Facilitate peer recovery groups and life skills classes




• Provide emotional validation and support for clients
• Engage with families and community resources as necessary

Requirements:
• Certificate relevant to peer support work needed
• Experience in mental health or substance use contexts
• Good judgment and effective communication skills
• Understanding of harm reduction principles
• Shift availability on weekdays, 8:00 to 16:30

Utilize your personal insight to foster recovery and support for clients within Interior Health’s Aftercare services.
