The Sleep Inn Regina East is looking to fill our Full Time Maintenance Position. This position is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our 73 room hotel and pool facility.

This position reports to the General Manager & the Housekeeping Supervisors.

Duties

Performing general grounds including shoveling snow and spring/summer grounds keeping

Maintaining pool cleanliness and preforming pool tests and filter maintenance

Repairing items such as toilets and small drywall patching

Performing routine maintenance such as changing out light bulbs, steam cleaning carpets

Replacing fixtures such as sink taps or thermostats

Replacing filters and checking on major equipment like hot water heaters

Characteristic & Ability Requirements

Ability to efficiently work under time constraints

Possesses good organizational and prioritization skills

Able to work independently and with others





Ability to work independently

Possesses the physical ability to perform all of the job duties within a defined period of time

Technical Requirements
Must have working knowledge of plumbing, painting, HVAC, electrical, and other general repair skills

Physical Requirements
This position requires an extensive level of physical exertion; frequent walking, bending, climbing, kneeling, extending reach, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying of up to 50+ pounds to complete assigned tasks. A considerable intensity of sensory effort is required.

This position requires the individual to perform duties in an internal or external setting and may have exposure to changes in temperature and weather.
