Our client in Paris, Ontario is seeking a skilled Accountant for their manufacturing team on a 1-year contract. Drive efficiency in financial management and production costing.

This role is tailored for an experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant with a strong manufacturing foundation. You will be responsible for general ledger upkeep, auditing Bills of Materials, and managing comprehensive financial records. Engaging with the production team is essential to ensure cost accuracy and to streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain the general ledger with precise transaction categorization
• Audit and manage Bills of Materials with production teams
• Track inventory valuation using BOM frameworks
• Allocate costs effectively to production jobs
• Identify discrepancies in costing calculations

Requirements:
• 2-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven expertise with BOMs and costing systems
• Solid knowledge of general ledger maintenance
• Experience with ERP software like QuickBooks Manufacturing
• Advanced skills in Excel required
