Monday – Friday (anticipate 40 hours per week). Operating hours on-site are from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday; Shifts will consist of an 8-hour shift during those hours. On-call support will be required on an occasional basis.
Required Qualifications: Must be a US citizen
Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Full Scope Poly
High school diploma or equivalent
Must demonstrate proficiency with the following:
Familiarity with building codes, ordinances and regulations of state and local authorities pertaining to HVAC
Proficiency with ASHRAE standards to include ASHRAE 55 -Thermal Environmental Conditions for Human Occupancy, ASHRAE 62.1 - Ventilation for Acceptable Indoor Air Quality, and ASHRAE 180 - Standard Practice for Inspection and Maintenance of Commercial Building HVAC Systems
Experience with CMMS is a plus but not required
Job Description: We are seeking a full-time HVAC Mechanic who is highly motivated,



qualified, and experienced. Position required to maintain and repair HVAC equipment throughout a current facility located in Springfield, Virginia.
Duties may include, but not be limited to, the following: Adding refrigerant to or removing refrigerant from equipment
Installing and troubleshooting heating and cooling systems
Cutting, welding, soldering, and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures
Replacing component and parts (pumps, pipes, fans, etc.)
Using power and hand tools safely to support the facilities
Maintaining air and water treatment systems
Inspecting refrigerant systems for leaks
Reading blueprints & schematics, utility plans, mechanical drawings, and electrical and wiring diagrams
Entering data into a Computerized Maintenance Management System; and
