About the Role: Food Service Supervisor
As a Food Service Supervisor , you'll be responsible for keeping the kitchen and front-line operations running smoothly. That means directing staff, managing food prep workflows, and making sure every guest receives consistent, quality service. The role covers both the fast food outlet and bakery sides of the operation, so you'll need to be comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a noisy, high-energy setting.

This is an on-site position — all work is performed at the physical location in Wendover. You'll also play a key role in sanitation and safety compliance , record-keeping, and communicating with both your team and management to keep everything on track.

Benefits and Salary
This is a permanent full-time position paying $18.75 per hour at 40 hours per week. Shifts are available across early mornings, mornings, days, evenings, nights, and weekends, offering some scheduling variety.

Responsibilities
As a Food Service Supervisor at Tim Hortons, your day-to-day will involve directing a team, maintaining quality control,



and keeping operations organised from open to close. These responsibilities span food preparation oversight, staff development, and administrative duties that keep the location running efficiently.

Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure smooth daily operations

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food

Train staff in job duties, sanitation procedures, and workplace safety standards

Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation and place food order summaries for the chef

Ensure quality control standards are met for both food and customer service

Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner

Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit related reports

Supervise and check the assembly and delivery of food trays and food trolleys

Establish work schedules for a team of 5–10 people across multiple shift types

Requirements / Skills
Tim Hortons is looking for a candidate who brings both hands-on food service experience and the confidence to lead a team. The right person will be detail-oriented, familiar with food safety and sanitation standards , and able to keep calm and organised during busy shifts. Knowledge of the establishment's menu and culinary offerings is also expected in this role.

Education: College, CEGEP, or other non‑university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a food service or supervisory role

Knowledge of culinary genres specific to the establishment's offerings

Availability across shifts including early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends

Work authorisation: Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or temporary resident with a valid work permit

Comfort in a noisy, fast‑paced environment such as a fast food outlet or bakery setting

College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years; 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
