Join Shared Health as a Child Mental Health Clinician in Winnipeg and impact young lives positively. This hybrid role focuses on delivering essential mental health services to children and youth in First Nations communities.
In this position, you’ll provide vital virtual and in-person therapy while working to meet the mental health needs of children and adolescents. You will assess clients, maintain robust community partnerships, and help integrate health services. Your efforts will directly align with Jordan’s Principle, emphasizing timely access to care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct triage and initial assessments for young clients
• Provide ongoing clinical interventions and therapy
• Establish partnerships with community and health resources
• Manage cases and coordinate with service providers
• Develop and implement mental health education initiatives
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in health discipline required
• 4-5 years of relevant experience with youth
• Knowledge of First Nations cultural practices
• Active regulatory body membership required
• Training in various therapeutic models preferred
