Full-Time Permanent
Location: Mississauga, ON - Hybrid, 3 Days Onsite Per Week
Base Salary: up to $85,000
Bonus: 10% annual performance-based bonus

We are currently seeking an energetic, skilled and motivated Bilingual Employee Relations (HR) Specialist to join a well-established and rapidly growing financial services organization in Mississauga.Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources, this position will support managers and employees with employee relations matters, workplace investigations, performance management, policy interpretation and compliance with provincial employment legislation.The role will primarily support Quebec, with Ontario as a secondary province. The successful candidate will regularly use French in employee and manager conversations, written documentation and investigations.This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working closely with managers,
independently managing sensitive employee issues and providing practical guidance in a fast-paced corporate environment.If you are fully bilingual in French and English, have hands-on Employee Relations and investigation experience, and are looking to continue developing your HR career within a growing organization, this could be an excellent next step.
Fully bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written.
Hands-on experience supporting employee or workplace investigations is required.
Minimum 1-3 years of Employee Relations experience.
Experience handling performance-management matters, employee complaints, progressive discipline, written warnings, PIPs and terminations is strongly preferred.
Comfortable working independently, managing sensitive cases and maintaining a neutral approach with both employees and managers.
Strong knowledge of provincial Employment Standards legislation, Human Rights legislation, Health & Safety requirements and other applicable employment laws.
Hands-on experience interpreting HR policies, procedures and employment legislation.
Experience handling employee relations issues, conflict resolution and sensitive workplace situations.
Ability to work effectively with managers and stakeholders at different levels of an organization.
Strong problem-solving, judgment and decision-making skills.
University or college degree/diploma in Human Resources or a related field.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and sensitive deadlines.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
Demonstrated discretion, confidentiality and professionalism.
Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience working with HRIS systems.
