Lead kids' exploration of STEAM with hands-on activities as an Instructional Facilitator based in Richmond, BC. Your expertise in 3D design, Scratch coding, and robotics will empower young learners.
This part time role invites you to foster creativity and critical thinking through after-school and weekend STEAM programs for children aged 5-14. The ideal instructional facilitator will engage students in 3D design projects, robotics assembly, and coding with Scratch, cultivating a structured and encouraging environment. Tailored mentorship will enhance both beginner and advanced learners' experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate engaging 3D design, coding, and robotics classes
• Maintain a safe and encouraging learning atmosphere
• Prepare and care for technical materials before classes
• Adapt instruction to meet a variety of student needs
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children
• Proficient in 3D pens, Scratch 3.0, and robotics kits
• Strong communication skills for explaining complex ideas
• Ability to troubleshoot and fix hardware and software issues
• Background or studies in Education, Engineering, or related fields
