As a Maintenance Millwright at Halton Region, you'll maintain mechanical equipment in water and wastewater treatment facilities. The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on experience, focusing on advanced maintenance practices, safety compliance, and cross-team collaboration. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct workplace hazard assessments to ensure safety compliance
• Perform maintenance on pumps, motors, and other mechanical systems
• Document work completion and equipment condition in SAP
• Coordinate maintenance planning activities with operations staff
• Participate in training to enhance skills and compliance
Requirements:
• Hold a Certificate of Qualification (433A) in Industrial Mechanics
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Robust mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP systems
• Understanding of safety regulations and maintenance practices
