The successful candidate will report to the Director of Public Safety and Enforcement and will play a vital role in educating the public about municipal laws. Responsibilities include inspections, issuing permits, and collaborating with local agencies for safety initiatives. Strong conflict resolution and investigation skills are key for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Investigate municipal bylaws and resolve complaints
• Conduct thorough inspections on public properties
• Issue penalty notices and other relevant orders




• Interview witnesses and complainants
• Prepare evidence and maintain detailed case records
Requirements:
• High School Diploma with related education favored
• Experience in law enforcement or related fields
• Valid Ontario class G Driver’s license
• Robust computer skills for report writing
• Able to work flexible hours, including emergencies
