Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment, perform under pressure, maintain attention to detail, stand for extended periods, and work in a combination of sitting, standing and walking. The successful candidate should demonstrate excellent oral communication, effective interpersonal skills, initiative, flexibility, dependability, client focus, and the ability to work as a team player.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food;
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and assign duties to staff;
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation standards, safety procedures, and company policies;
- Participate in recruiting, hiring, training,



and onboarding new staff;
- Monitor employee performance and provide direction and support;
- Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation;
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards;
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns;
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage;
- Prepare and submit operational reports;
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety and employment standards; and
- Support the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the restaurant.
