CancerCare Manitoba seeks a dedicated Nursing Assistant for Radiation Therapy in Winnipeg. This role focuses on patient assistance and clerical support within a cooperative environment. In this permanent position, you'll work under a Clinical Resource Therapist, contributing to the daily operations of the Radiation Therapy Department.
Your responsibilities will include direct patient care, communication with families, as well as maintaining a clean and organized area. Adaptability and strong customer service skills are crucial in this fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Support patient care tasks in the Radiation Therapy Department
- Manage reception tasks and clerical duties efficiently
- Keep therapy spaces tidy and organized
- Engage effectively with patients and family members
- Ensure confidentiality in accordance with CCMB policies Requirements:
- Health Unit Clerk and Health Care Aide Certificates needed
- Relevant experience in healthcare required
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work well in stress-filled situations
