Our Infrastructure group is currently looking to add a Project Coordinator to our growing team, based in Port Hawkesbury, NS.
Reporting to the Project Manager, we are seeking an organized and proactive coordinator to support the planning, execution, and delivery of large data center infrastructure projects, with the first project being a new Data Center in Nova Scotia. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Please Note: this is a field-based position working on-site in Port Hawkesbury, NS on a shift of 14 days on / 7 days off (no work on Sundays), with 10 hour days. We offer Fly In / Fly Out from any major airport. LOA provided or we can provide partial LOA and accommodations if needed.
Duties and Responsibilities Assist with the development and implementation of project strategies and objectives in alignment with the company's goals
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute projects
Coordinate subcontractors
Support projects from concept to completion,
ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
Analyze data from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to aid in the development of procurement strategies that optimize costs, quality, and lead times
Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
Assist with resolving construction-related issues
Report on project financial performance
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, regulatory agencies, and partners
Ensure effective communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders
Requirements Post-Secondary education in a related field
an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered
2 years of construction project coordination / support experience
Proven experience supporting field operations or construction teams
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Preferred Skills / Qualifications Working towards Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Familiarity with data center or utility construction
This position offers a base salary range of $80,000 – $110,000 annually , depending on experience and qualifications.
