Join Trans Mountain as an Intermediate Engineer (Contract) based in Burnaby, BC. Lead engineering efforts to support pipeline project execution and safety compliance.
This role, reporting directly to the Director Field Engineering, requires a detail-oriented engineer with significant experience in pipeline projects. You will be responsible for developing Engineered Job Plans and ensuring thorough execution readiness. Your role is vital for preventing operational risks that could affect public safety and environmental quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and validate Engineered Job Plans for major projects
• Oversee safe execution and readiness for field activities
• Identify and manage key risks through independent oversight
• Work collaboratively with operational teams for project clarity
• Direct troubleshooting efforts for unplanned challenges
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical)
• At least 5 years of related engineering experience
• Prior experience in pipeline industries preferred
• Compliant with British Columbia's Skilled Engineer registration
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
