Niagara Catholic is seeking an Experienced Carpenter to join the Facilities Services team in Thorold, Ontario. Focus on an array of carpentry tasks and general maintenance to improve facilities.

As an Experienced Carpenter, you will work closely under the Facilities Services Manager, handling diverse carpentry projects ranging from renovations to new constructions. You will need to effectively communicate with the team, ensuring all tasks meet required standards and safety codes, contributing to a productive work culture.

Key Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret blueprints for construction tasks
• Utilize tools for cutting and shaping wood and fixtures
• Perform finishing touches on structures as needed




• Participate in general maintenance of board properties
• Coordinate supply ordering and heavy equipment movement

Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 and possess Carpenter C of Q 403A
• Valid Class G Driver’s License required
• Proven experience in construction and maintenance
• Good communication skills and teamwork ability
• Solid commitment to safety and adherence to building codes
