Assignment:
Part-time 0.60 FTE Temporary replacement Educational Assistant position
Duties to commence October 1, 2026 and will continue until December 18, 2026
Monday/Wednesday mornings and Tuesday/Thursday full days
Working with students in the Bright Futures Play Academy program
Qualifications and/or Assets:
Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant would be considered an asset
Experience working with students with complex needs
Experience in Early Childhood Education would be considered an asset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Calm and patient approach to solving problems
Commitment to ongoing qualified growth
Collaborative team player with the ability to take initiative and support a dynamic learning environment
Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality
Calm, confident,
and skilled professional who can maintain structure and consistency while supporting students who require supervision, redirection, and personalized programming throughout the school day.
Reliability and eager to learn would be considered an asset
Flexibility to work in a variety of programs
Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-orientated learning environment
Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion and patience
