Working here is fast-paced, non-stop, and a little unpredictable—and we love it.Your area of focus.The Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of automotive parts within an organization. You'll work closely with suppliers, technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure the availability of the right parts at the right time.What drives your day-to-day?Managing and maintaining inventory levels of automotive partsDeveloping and implementing procurement strategies to ensure cost-effectivenessCollaborating with suppliers to negotiate pricing and termsMonitoring and analyzing market trends to anticipate parts demandEnsuring compliance with safety and quality standardsSupervising a team of parts specialists and coordinating their workResolving any issues related to parts availability or qualityPromoting and selling parts to customers, building relationships with existing customers, and identifying potential new customersCompleting paperwork, processing invoices,



and performing other administrative tasks as neededWhat are the must-haves…A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working in an automotive dealership Parts Department in a leadership roleMust be 18 years of age or older to meet insurance requirements for operating a motor vehicleMust be legally authorized to work in Canada and have a have a valid driver's licenseMust submit to and adequately pass a pre-employment background and MVR screen prior to employmentHigh school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferredA detailed understanding of Parts and Service operations and inventory managementUnderstanding of Provincial Safety code requirements for dealershipsAdvanced working knowledge of CDK dealer management systemAbility to meet the physical demands of the position, which includes: standing, sitting, walking, bending, crouching, reaching, lifting, etc.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to construct emails and messages in a professional and inviting mannerHas the competitive spirit, drive, outgoing personality, consistency,

The actual compensation offered will be based on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, education, skills and experience.
