As a key member of the health care team, you will report to the Patient Care Manager and engage in assessment, education, and advocacy for patients and families.
This role demands a commitment to the principles of Person-Centered Care and adherence to the Ontario nursing standards, ensuring high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess critically ill patients and implement care strategies
- Advocate for patient needs and preferences
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Educate patients and families on care processes
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and nursing councils Requirements:
- Active registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
- At least two years of experience in critical care
- BCLS and ACLS certifications required
- Solid communication and organizational skills
