With a degree in Environmental Sciences and a minimum of six years' experience, you’ll be responsible for managing groundwater and surface water across various municipal waste facilities. This role will involve leading site remediation initiatives while supervising a skilled sampling team and collaborating with various stakeholders in compliance and environmental initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage groundwater, surface water, and leachate quality
• Lead engineering management for contaminated site remediation
• Direct supervision of the EWMC Sampling Group
• Review extensive networks for environmental monitoring
• Support environmental initiatives and project management
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or two-year diploma in Environmental Sciences
• Minimum six to eight years of relevant experience
• Background in environmental monitoring and project management
• Leadership abilities and solid interpersonal skills
• Valid Class 5 driver's license and compliance with safety standards
Contribute to a cleaner city through leadership in environmental projects and compliance at the City of Edmonton.
