Become an Emergency Medical Technician at the Whitewood Community Health Centre. This full-time role focuses on providing Advanced Life Support to patients in crisis.
As an EMT, you will respond to both urgent and non-urgent calls, ensuring the highest level of care is maintained during assessments and treatments. You will work 12-hour shifts that include diverse hours, requiring flexibility and responsiveness. A valid Class 4 driver’s license and an International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS) are necessary qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver Advanced Life Support to patients in emergency situations
• Conduct thorough assessments to determine treatment needs
• Follow Saskatchewan Ambulance Act and protocols diligently
• Ensure accurate documentation of all patient interactions
• Safely transport patients to appropriate medical facilities
Requirements:
• ITLS Certificate is mandatory
• Class 4 driver's license required
• Registration with Saskatchewan College of Paramedics
• Successful completion of the Pre-Hospital Care Program at PCP Level
• HSAS member preference
