The incumbent will collaborate with other members of the team while providing assessment, diagnosis, consultation, and psychotherapy. The ability to conduct both individual and group treatment is required. As well,



the incumbent will be required to work collaboratively with family physicians and other service providers and community agencies in the context of providing care. The successful candidate will be required to participate in quality improvement initiatives including peer supervision processes for ongoing clinical development.Licensure for International Educated PsychologistBefore applying for a psychologist position in Nova Scotia, you’ll need to be licensed by the Nova Scotia Regulator of Psychology (NSRP). For U.S.-trained psychologists, this process focuses on confirming that your education, supervised experience, and examinations meet Canadian standards. It typically includes credential review, completion of supervised practice requirements, and passing the Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP), with additional assessments as required. We recommend starting the licensing process early to allow time for review—and our team is here to support you throughout the journey.We want to hear from you if you have the following:Recognized PhD/PsyD in Clinical Psychology or Masters in Psychology from an accredited university programCurrent registration or eligible as a Psychologist with the Nova Scotia Board Regulator of Psychology (NSRP)
