As a Customs Brokerage Specialist, you will oversee the entire customs brokerage process while validating duties and taxes as per client needs. This position requires your expertise in customs procedures and a proactive approach to solving compliance issues. You will also serve as the primary liaison for clients and Canada Customs to ensure smooth operations and resolve any inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage customs brokerage processes per customer-specific SOPs
• Validate classifications and import taxes for client compliance
• Act as the first point of contact for Canada Customs
• File customs entries and coordinate shipment releases
• Monitor reports and rectify service failures
Requirements:
• Minimum two years of customs brokerage experience
• Fluent in import regulations and compliance procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational skills for complex processes
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers
