As a Cloud Data Engineering Manager, you will engage in analyzing system requirements while developing cloud-based analytics products. Your responsibilities will include designing data lakes, maintaining automated data pipelines, and resolving operational problems with cluster IT teams. This position requires extensive knowledge of cloud platforms and robust programming skills for successful implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze systems requirements and architect cloud data solutions
• Design and maintain cloud-based data lake and lakehouse structures
• Liaise with IT teams to resolve operational issues
• Support migration from Azure Synapse Analytics to Databricks
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to standards
Requirements:
• Proficient in Azure, Databricks, Python, and SQL
• Experience with data pipeline orchestration and management
• Familiar with CI/CD practices and tools
• Strong problem-solving skills for complex technical issues
• Background in data governance with Databricks Unity Catalog
