Jadee Meat Products is located in Beamsville, Ontario and is an established and growing food processing company. Our team is actively seeking an honest, energetic and hard-working individual to fill the full-time role in our Maintenance Department for the day shift (6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.)

Responsibilities

Set-up equipment prior to production start-up.

Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines

Troubleshoot and maintain plant equipment and machinery.

Upkeep of building facilities.

Inspect the materials and tools inventory and place orders when needed with the assistance of the maintenance supervisor.

Ability to use tools and equipment required to perform the work (e.g., hand and power tools, etc.)

Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.

Develop and follow maintenance procedures.





Perform all work in a safe manner and within all compliance requirements to avoid personal injury.

Work with outside contractors

Perform related duties as assigned

Essential Skills

Secondary school diploma or equivalent – preferred experience in a maintenance role.

Problem solving ability; recognize, assess, report, and provide solutions.

Excellent organizational skills and record keeping ability.

Strong attention to detail.

Maintain good working relationships with all co-workers and contractors.

Ability to lift 50 lbs. if necessary.

Ability to fabricate and weld various types of metals is a plus.

Successful candidates will be able to work well independently and, in a team, setting.

Wage
starting at $23.24/hour
