Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Banking Operations Officer.This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide operational support within a collaborative team environment, focusing on transaction processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, and contributing to process improvement initiatives. The role involves both back-office functions and interaction with internal partners, with potential for career growth and a strong focus on work-life balance. Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $27.70/hr
Responsibilities Receive and review documentation for accuracy and completeness
Manage transaction processing within established guidelines and SLAs
Finalize requests through queue management and support ad hoc processing tasks
Interact with internal and external partners to resolve issues promptly
Escalate processing or operational issues as needed, ensuring timely resolution
Validate information for incoming transactions and support adjustments within authority levels
Identify and suggest opportunities for service and process improvements
Support compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and enterprise frameworks
Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information
Contribute to reporting and analysis on critical projects or initiatives that optimize operations
Perform daily operational activities with attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines




Desired Skill-Set Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Effective organizational and time management abilities
Self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset
Ability to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures
Robust attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle high-volume workloads while meeting deadlines
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
Basic understanding of MM and FX products (e.g., options, forex spots and forwards, money market deposits and loans)
Knowledge of Global and WSS platforms is an asset
Nice to Have Customer service experience (minimum 2 years)
Banking or financial services experience, particularly with cash products (Loans, Deposits, Swaps, Forwards)
