Your role involves leading the design and execution of HV/EHV substations as part of Stantec’s Power team. With at least six years of comprehensive engineering experience, you will ensure project completion through effective coordination and high-quality deliverables. In addition, nurture the next generation of engineers by providing guidance and support.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth engineering studies including grounding and insulation coordination
• Design switchyard layouts, cable routing, and AC/DC distribution systems
• Prepare specifications for construction, equipment, and testing




• Offer technical support during procurement and commissioning
• Perform on-site visits and support design preparations

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems specialization
• 6+ years of direct experience in design for utilities
• Valid P.Eng registration required
• Proficiency in Engineering software like ETAP and MathCAD
• Strong interpersonal and multitasking abilities
