Become a Secondary Teacher with the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board's Continuing Education program. This in-person role focuses on teaching essential subjects, fostering student success from November 9, 2026.

This temporary position is for Quadmester 2 at the Adult High School. You will educate adult learners in Mathematics, English, Social Sciences, and more. Evening availability is also required for paid staff meetings leading up to Quadmester 2.

Key Responsibilities:
• Teach secondary courses including Mathematics and English
• Facilitate a positive learning environment for adult students
• Participate in a paid staff meeting prior to Quadmester start
• Follow the established curriculum for Reach Ahead credit courses




• Prepare students for success in the Ontario Secondary School Literacy course

Requirements:
• Ontario Certification from the Ontario College of Teachers
• Intermediate/Senior qualifications on Ontario Qualification Record
• Positive standing status with the Ontario College of Teachers
• Prior CE Seniority experience preferred
• Available for in-person teaching from November 9
