Royal Bank of Canada based in 210 BROADWAY:ORANGEVILLE is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Investment Advisor who are self-motivated and have good interpersonal skills. The candidate who got selected will be required to start work as soon as possible. The position is for a full-time role.

The candidate will be responsible for leaning on RBC Dominion Securities’ strong brand and reputation to build a client base of high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners and manage their complex financial needs.

The candidate will be required to use RBCs extensive investment and wealth management resources to develop customized portfolios and wealth plans.

The candidate will be responsible for fostering trusted, often multi-generational, long-term relationships using personalized service and advice.

The candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining reciprocal relationships with RBC partners such as Personal & Commercial Banking and Insurance to ensure clients are supported in all aspects of their financial lives.

The candidate must have strong people and problem-solving skills to build and maintain strong client relationships.

The candidate will be responsible for taking initiative and managing their own workday.





The candidate will be required to focus on meaningful work that helps clients achieve their life goals through good financial guidance.

Job Requirements

The candidate will be required to have 4–6 years of outbound sales experience and be comfortable working on a 100% commission basis.

The candidate must have completed the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) and the Retail Securities Exam (RSE), or be able to complete them prior to the start date.

The candidate will be required to have a strong passion for financial planning and a keen interest in portfolio management.

The candidate must have a background in direct marketing within financial services and show success in high value sales and business growth, regardless of discipline.

The candidate should have strong relationship building skills and be able to connect with all types of individuals.

The candidate must hold recognized certifications in Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
