Canada Post is looking for a temporary, on-call Mail Service Courier in Québec, QC . As a professional driver with a Class 3 or Class 1 licence and appropriate provincial air brake endorsements, you will use a corporate vehicle to pick up and deliver mail, load and unload postal vehicles, and play an significant role in ensuring customer satisfaction.

Language Requirement: French Essential

Responsibilities

Load and unload postal vehicles while keeping mail and Canada Post property safe and secure at all times

Collect, sort, and deliver mail

Operate portable communications devices

Perform vehicle safety checks

Complete documentation and maintain records

Communicate with customers and the public

Shuttle corporate delivery vehicles between parking locations and loading platforms to facilitate pre-loading

Required Qualifications

Valid Class 3 or Class 1 driver's licence (or higher) with the appropriate provincial air brake endorsements





A safe driving record for at least 3 years (recent driver's abstract or commercial driver's abstract dated within the last 30 days required)

Physical ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb)

Availability to work on short notice

Assets (Nice to Have)

Experience in customer service

Experience as a professional driver in commercial delivery

Experience driving a 5-ton truck or larger
