About the Role
We are looking for aHead of Video & Eventsto lead thestrategy, operations, and execution of video, social, photography, and eventsacross our portfolio of 25+ digital brands.
This is ahighly autonomous leadership rolecombiningcreativity, business strategy, operations, and team leadership. You will work across Brand, Sales, GTM, Finance, Legal, HR, and senior leadership to turn ideas intoscalable initiatives that drive audience growth and revenue.
Responsibilities
Video, Social & Creative Strategy
- Own theoverall video and social strategyacross 25+ brands, adapting the approach to each brand'saudience, identity, and P&L;.
- Developnew content conceptsand identify opportunities throughemerging trends, creators, influencers, platforms, and AI.
- Bridgevideo, social, photography, and editorialto build scalable content strategies.
- Stay close to each brand and its audience to understandwhat is trending, what performs, and where new opportunities exist.
- EstablishKPIsand use performance data to continuously improve content strategy.
- Hire for all video, social and adjacent event roles.
Events & Campaigns
- Lead theplanning and execution of major events, campaigns, shoots, and original productions.
- Ownbudgets, timelines, vendors, and resourcesto ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Partner withSales and GTMto turn commercial opportunities into compelling, executable creative initiatives.
- Ensurecommercial commitments are delivered and performance targets are met.
- Producepost-event and campaign recapsusing explicit performance and revenue data.
Operations & Business Performance
- Owncreative intake and prioritizationacross the organization, balancing competing brand, marketing, sales, and leadership priorities.
- Buildscalable workflows, tools, and processesthat improve efficiency, quality, and turnaround time.
- Trackbudgets, spend, production capacity, and KPIsacross the creative operation.
- Coordinatinginvoices, contracts, and paymentsfor freelancers and external vendors.
- Identify bottlenecks and continuously improve theproduction pipeline.
- Evaluate and implementAI and emerging technologiesthat can improve efficiency, content creation, and reporting.
- Work closely withFinance, Legal, HR, and vendorsto ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop a team of approximately25 employees, freelancers, and vendors, including5+ direct reports.
- Set clearpriorities, KPIs, and expectationswhile empowering the team to operate autonomously.
- Build ahigh-performing, accountable, and creative culture.
- Developscalable structuresthat allow the team to grow with the business.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experiencein video, creative production, digital media, social, events, or a related field.
- Proven experienceleading creative teamsand managing external vendors and partners.
- Strongbusiness acumenwith experience managing budgets, KPIs, and commercial deliverables.
- Strong understanding ofdigital video, social media, audience growth, and monetization.
- Excellentproject management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities at scale.
- Creative thinkerwho can turn trends and ideas into actionable, measurable initiatives.
- Highly comfortable withdata, technology, and AI tools.
- Strong communicator who can work effectively withSales, Finance, Marketing, and senior leadership.
- Passionate aboutdigital media and social platforms, with a strong understanding of what resonates with different audiences.
- Entrepreneurial and hands-on, with a strong sense of ownership and a desire to build and improve.
- Able to treateach brand as a unique clientand adapt strategies based on its audience, identity, and business objectives.
