Description The Visual Merchandiser attracts customers by originating display ideas; following display suggestions or schedules; actioning promotion and sales strategies; producing merchandise displays in windows and showcases, and on sales floor. While supporting the Retail Supervisor with team member management and day to day store operations.
This role understands our product stories, features, and store allocations the best. It is significant to establish a foundation of visual excellence that acts as a world-class experience and a springboard to educate staff and increase interaction with guests.
Their main role is to maintain high visual standards amongst all of our stores and showcase our world class selection of product. Alongside supporting the staff with strong visual displays, also supporting the team in their product knowledge allows us to create a sales experience that empowers our guests to make decisions based on the knowledge we offer them. Authentic conversations are key to delivering the ultimate guest experience.
This role will work closely alongside the Retail Supervisor, Assistant Director, and Inventory team. An integral part of the team being a key leader, tasking team members, assisting with sales, and customer service.
Job Functions This position will be responsible for all 6 resort retail store locations, village, and all retail employees.
Present on the retail floor, as a merchandiser and part of the leadership team, a minimum of 32 hours per week.
Assist the Retail Supervisor in leading staffing matters such as KPI management, team huddles,



social event planning, and schedule management.
Passionately leads and educates on our product, community, and culture on the retail floor.
Creates excitement and FUN for our guests on the retail floor.
Manage VM standards and communications to stores.
Delivering weekly and monthly direction to support product strategies and sell-through.
Observe strategy and business needs, as well as facilitate training.
Responsible for all VM hardware across our stores, including mannequins and hangers.
Learn all aspects of Lightspeed and assist our supervisors with the training of our retail team, when it applies to till training, barcoding, and stock room maintenance.
Learn all aspects of Dayforce for scheduling purposes
This position will be participating in the physical counting process to standard and make sure all inventory is counted and counted properly. This happens twice a season.
This position may be required to take place after the resort’s operational hours.
Driving Sales Strategy Identify customer preferences and forecast consumer trends.
Evaluate supplier options according to prices, quality etc. and determine the best choices.
Action promotional strategies and forecast sales to prevent stock from becoming stale.
Reporting on key metrics such as daily sales, volume of promotional sales, sales by visual display.
Maintain high levels of store signage
Additional Duties Along with any other tasks/duties deemed suitable that are required by the Assistant Retail Director, or Retail Director.
