St. Paul’s Hospital is seeking a qualified Physician Assistant for the Surgical Nursing Unit in Saskatoon. This full-time position is ideal for those aiming to impact patient care positively.
As a Surgical Physician Assistant, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional healthcare as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will utilize your advanced technical skills and compassion to support patients throughout their treatment journey. Candidates need to have a qualified PA degree and dedication to ethical medical practices within a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct clinical assessments and deliver therapies as directed
• Partner with physicians to coordinate patient care
• Document and manage medical records accurately and promptly
• Provide support and education to patients and families
• Exhibit high ethical standards and professionalism in practice
Requirements:
• Accredited Physician Assistant degree recognized by PACCC
• Good standing with CPSS and required licenses
• Existing clinical experience in a healthcare setting
• Class 5 driver's license and readiness for regional travel
• Certification in ACLS, ATLS, or PALS preferred
