The YMCA is seeking a dedicated Community Justice Worker for a 6-month contract, starting in October 2026. This role focuses on delivering alternative justice services and facilitating workshops for youth and adults. Candidates should possess a solid customer service background and be committed to the YMCA Mission and Values.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver alternative justice services to youth and adults
• Develop and facilitate engaging workshops
• Monitor community service placements with nonprofits
• Liaise with justice agencies and community partners
• Conduct outreach to stakeholders and community groups
Requirements:
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Post-secondary degree in social services or related field
• Class G Driver's License and own vehicle
• Experience creating and delivering workshops
• Current Criminal Reference Check required
