In this full-time position, you will be essential in safeguarding the health and safety of our team members on various construction sites. Your responsibilities will include identifying potential safety hazards, implementing effective solutions, and ensuring adherence to Canadian safety regulations. A Bachelor’s degree, NCSO certification, and five years of relevant experience are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough site inspections and risk assessments
• Recommend safety measures and solutions for identified hazards
• Oversee compliance with OH&S; and company policies
• Provide guidance and support for safety training initiatives
• Document safety audit findings and implement improvements
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related field
• National Construction Safety Officer certification
• 5+ years of varied construction safety experience
• Robust understanding of occupational health regulations
• Excellent communication skills for training
