Role: Network Administrator / NOC Network Engineer Location: Calgary, AB Work Model: Onsite Experience: 6 10 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator / NOC Network Engineer with strong hands-on experience supporting enterprise network environments.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Cisco Routing & Switching, Meraki SD-WAN, network troubleshooting, and NOC operations and must be comfortable working in a 24x7 shift-based support environment .

Key Responsibilities: Provide L2/L3 network support in an enterprise NOC environment.

Monitor and troubleshoot routing, switching, and Layer 1/Layer 2 network issues .

Support and maintain Cisco routers, switches, WLCs, firewalls, and Meraki SD-WAN environments.

Troubleshoot network outages, connectivity issues, performance problems, and service disruptions.

Monitor network performance, alerts, and incidents and ensure timely resolution.

Manage incidents, escalations, and service requests according to operational SLAs.

Coordinate with ISPs, vendors, and internal infrastructure teams for issue resolution.

Support DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM) .

Maintain network documentation, configurations, and operational procedures.





Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical support to end users.

Work effectively in a 24x7 shift-based NOC support model .

Required Skills: 6 10 years of hands-on NOC / Network Administration experience.

Robust hands-on expertise in Cisco Routing & Switching .

Experience with Cisco Meraki SD-WAN .

Experience supporting enterprise routers, switches, WLCs, and firewalls .

Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Layer 1/Layer 2 troubleshooting, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM .

Experience with network monitoring, alerting, incident management, and ticketing tools .

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced NOC environment.

Willingness to work 24x7 shifts , including weekends and holidays as required.

Preferred Skills: Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki environments .

Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies .

Exposure to Data Center networking .

Experience working with enterprise network monitoring and ticketing platforms.

Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge.
