Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year Experience: 1 to less than 7 months Tasks Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware Supervise other workers Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments Support for newcomers and refugees Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.) Support for Indigenous people Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work workplace for Indigenous workers Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
